In Arise, the way you get new weapons and hunters is through the gacha system. However, in KARMA, you unlock different characters and weapons just by playing through the game.

That statement is scoped deliberately. The same panel said characters and weapons are not the only progression axis in the game, and the final monetization structure is still under discussion according to the TGS 2026 developer Q&A. Store listings have referenced random items.
